Crossroads of the World

The first outdoor shopping mall in the United States, it was constructed in 1936. The mall is situated on Sunset Boulevard and Las Palmas in Los Angeles,  Its unique design to resembles that an ocean liner surrounded by a small village of cottages. Previously a shopping centre it main purpose now is for the entertainment industry. It has a featured location in many films, including L.A. Confidential. 

Disney Land

Universal Studios

Universal Studios is not only a movie studio but also an unrivalled theme park of its kind. Still in use today, it is one of Hollywoods oldest and most famous movie studios. Earning it the self proclaimed title "The Entertainment Capital of LA". It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios soundstages and sets. It is the first of many Universal Studios Theme Parks, which now appear in Florida, Japan, Singapore. 

Hollywood

The siren to many an aspiring actor and entertainer, Hollywood remain the birthplace to many famous actors. The area attracts millions of tourist each year hopefully waiting to run into their idol or retracing footstep of their favourite stars. Check out the Hollywood walk of fame, where celebrates have been acknowledged, by having there names written on stars in the pavement.

Sunset boulevard

Stretching an estimated 22 miles, Sunset Boulevard lies in the western part of Los Angeles. The street is an icon of Hollywood celebrity culture. It was originally build to connect the wealthy part of the city, where most celebrities took residents in Beverly Hills, to the then not so desirable, downtown Hollywood. Now, however the street is filled with attraction of interest such as Paramount Studios, Hollywood memorial Park, Rock Walk, Charlie Chapllin Studios to name but a few
